How Coinit works

Every Coinit event is a yes/no question with two real pump.fun coins: a YES coin and a NO coin. You back a side by buying its coin. The market cap of each coin is the crowd's live opinion.

1. Anyone can create an event

Connect a wallet, write the headline and pick an end time. Coinit builds both coins with tickers for the event and you approve once in your wallet. The two coins are created from your wallet, so you are the coins' creator on pump.fun.

2. The fees are locked to the pool

In the same approval, each coin's creator fees are moved to pump.fun's fee sharing with the Coinit bot wallet as the only shareholder at 100%. That step finalises the config, so nobody — not you, not Coinit — can change it later. Every trade of either coin now pays into the event's pool.

3. The bot collects the fees

The bot calls pump.fun's public “distribute creator fees” for both coins every 30 seconds and credits the exact SOL it received to the event's pool. You can watch the pool grow on the event page.

4. The winning side takes the pool

At the end time the bot records who holds each coin. When the result is set, the bot does a last claim and freezes the pool. The fees stay in the Coinit wallet and the Coinit team sends them to the holders of the winning coin by hand, in proportion to how many coins each wallet held. The event page lists who gets what, and every payout becomes a Solscan link once it has been sent.

  • Holders of the winning coin: 100%
  • Event creator: 0%
  • Protocol: 0%

The split is copied onto each event when it is created and shown on the event page.

Good to know

  • Wallets that are programs (liquidity pools, bonding curves, smart wallets) are not paid; neither is the bot wallet.
  • Payouts below 0.001 SOL are skipped and their share is re-split among the other winners.
  • Buying after the end time doesn't count: balances are recorded at the end time.
  • The Coinit admin sets the result of each event. Read the headline and description of an event before you buy.
  • Memecoins are volatile and can go to zero. This is not financial advice.
